Since 2013, AmazonSmile has partnered with charitable organizations to give 0.5% of purchases back to charity. The Air Marshal Association has been an approved charity, and hundred of dollars were returned to FAMs through the AMAF through their normal shopping habits.

Unfortunately, starting 2/20/23 Amazon has decided to divert the percentage of purchases to charities of their own choice. According to Amazon, 'our ability to have an impact was often spread too thin'.
